![]() He appears shortly after Osiris does when the player meets them in the Duat.Ī few seconds after Osiris spawns in the Duat, Anubis II will spawn.Īs Anubis II has had his Scepter stolen by the player in Temple of Anubis in his first life, he will instead point to the air, summoning coffins containing either a Sorceress, Witch Doctor, Vampire, or Necromancer. Make sure that he does not die above a large open space or the Tablet will fall down and could be destroyed by Apep, the killer snake that frequents the level. Can summon Coffins from the sky to spawn enemiesĪnubis II is the return of the original Egyptian god of death, resurrected with the power of an Ankh. ![]() Osiris will need to be hit by four bombs to kill him. Anubis II only requires one bomb to be killed and then he'll drop a free jetpack. If you don't have paste, you'll have to cook some bombs and then throw them right as they're about to explode to do damage. Dodge the enemies and start chucking bombs at him. Anubis II will show up a second later and start dropping enemies on you. At the top, first you will see Osiris spawn but don't worry about him yet. Climbing gloves and spring shoes are clutch here. Another note, ropes will not work in the areas that do not have a filled in background so you'll have to use your jumps strategically. Also, go slow, because there is a killer snake that goes back and forth at a few points in the level and will insta kill you. Depending on Kali's favor for you, there will be some bombs waiting on the alter found in the level, so pick these up for the boss fight. Much like Abzu, there is no time limit in Duat either so take your time working your way up to the top of the level, getting as much blood as you can for the kapala cup which i hope to god you picked up at some point. This will sacrifice you on the alter but since you have the Ankh, you will come back to life on the next level, Duat. You should fall back down on the alter and stun yourself from the fall. Jump above the alter until your head touches the bottom the gold blocks that are directly above the alter. In the center of the City of Gold, there is always an alter surrounded by a bunch of giant levels and a big ox behind it in the background. Since there is another achievement for getting to the City of Gold, I won't go into that, so I'll just say, get to the City of Gold with the items listed above. Same thing as before, you'll need Udjat Eye-> Crown or Headpiece -> Ankh. You can also take the Temple route and defeat Osiris to get the Tablet of Destiny. So, would need 27 sticky bombs walking into the fight to do it this way, not recommended. This will take 200 whips to kill her from this point. After that, her shell is cracked and you can start whipping her. First place 10 sticky bombs on her shell and allow them to explode. Technically you can defeat her without Excalibur. Eventually she will die and the Tablet of Destiny will pop out as she slides down the wall. Slash the enemies as they fall and continue slashing. She (yes, she) will start tossing enemies out at you three at a time. Jump on the platform on Kingu's back and start slashing away. You can get to Kingu by either finding a cave below you in the water or climbing the walls with climbing gloves to get to the top. Kingu himself isn't very hard and there is no time limit on this level but since you just died, you probably are very low on health. Go through that door and this take you to the Kingu fight. Crouch down and look for another door that was previously hidden by where the lava was. Once again, get back to the regular exit and pick your sword back up. It will bring you back to life and spawn you back at the entrance to the level. ![]() Move the golden idol and the bombs above you will explode, draining all of the lava away and killing you in the process. When you come out, you'll notice there is no way to get back from where you came from. Next, to drain the lava, you need to find a cave entrance to the backlayer somewhere in the level and work your way down to the very bottom where you will find an exit back to the front layer. First, get to the regular exit and drop your sword off and jetpack if you have one. There is a secret exit hidden on 4-3 under the lava that is found at the bottom of the level. ![]() This is Excalibur and you will be using this to fight Kingu. So, assuming you have those items, on 4-2 there is a sword at the bottom-center of the level but above the water. If you don't know how to get these items, there are other guides here on TA that will help you. The items you will need in order are Udjat Eye -> Crown or Headpiece -> Ankh. I'll be going over both of these in this guide as they are both required anyway for the full journal but I'm going to start with the much easier Tide Pools version of this for people who just want this achievement. The Tablet of Destiny can found on either 4-3 of Tide Pools or 4-4 of Temple. ![]()
